"got into diagnostics upon arrival to confirm part replacement. After running service test 66 - fill tube heater is working, then ran test 77 - to confirm door switch operations - also working as normal. Got with Techline and then ran service test 97 to run and test freezer ice maker water valve - here is where we got no water when running test to icemaker. SR#7738809305 - per techline ordering valve replacement (W11233375); ordrng 1 W11233375 (VALVE) and 2 WP2300868 (FITTING)s"

Osiel was quick to come out on my schedule to diagnose the problem. Gave me a price and we chose to repair our dryer. We had to wait a bit for the parts to come in and after that, I was added to the schedule and the repair was done and so far so good. The repair cost nearly $600 for a new $1200 machine. My next washer/dryer purchase will be purchased as if it were disposable. Purchase the cheapest machines I can find, trash and buy new ones when they break. In all, it took about a month to have the appliance repaired when it first broke.

This review is specifically only for “scheduling” Not knowing a defined window for the appointment day, prior to booking and only knowing it the morning of appointment is a huge problem. Rescheduled it to a day confirming the 4 hour window only to again find out the morning that it wasn’t the case was very frustrating.

Before he came, my icemaker produced about two glasses of ice per day. The morning he came the ice was the same. when he arrived it was half full for the first time in a long time! Since he left, we have had two glasses of ice per day from our icemaker. I check it every morning and there is a few pieces of ice at the bottom of the icemaker only! He suggested I buy a thermometer for $64 on Amazon for the refrigerator. He also told me there were vents in the freezer on two shelves and a drawer and I needed to keep my food away from the vents and move the food forward. As of right now, the icemaker is empty, except for a few pieces at the bottom of the container. This was a new refrigerator for $12,700 that I received in January, 2024. It has been a nightmare for four months and I am not getting anywhere with KitchenAid except for having four repairman come and no changed results. We have barely had ice at any one time and have to buy it!
