"Performed a full diagnostic evaluation of the refrigerator. No leaks were found in the previously replaced components (the compressor, filter drier, and 3-way valve). Unit symptoms look to be a restriction/issue within the evaporator, preventing proper refrigerant flow through both compartments and impacting overall cooling performance. Replacement of both evaporators is recommended. A quote will be provided, and customer approval is required prior to completing repairs. Due to a clerical error, the sealed system componenets are no longer covered under warranty. Although this 2014 unit originally carried 5 years of labor and 10 years of parts coverage for seal system components, that entitlement has expired. Moving forward, parts and labor for the evaporator repair will be the customers responsibility. No additional charges will be applied for the compressor, filter drier, and coil previously installed; however, if those components are found to be compromised due to this restriction and require replacement, they will be quoted before proceeding.
