"Replaced LED module in the freezer compartment; unit is working as normal. Customer states food in the drawer is freezing. Ran diagnostics; unit has no error codes or part failures. Drawer control is working, thermistor sensor is functioning properly, and damper is operating as normal, opening and closing completely. Techline reviewed finding , who confirmed unit is operating as designed. They advised the ideal refrigerator temperature is 38?F40?F and that cool air flows from the freezer through vents into the refrigerator section, meaning produce (containing water) packed tightly against the back of the drawer or shelves can sit directly in the cold airflow path and freeze. Recommended keeping items loosely distributed and away from the rear wall of the drawer to allow proper air circulation. Customer may contact customer service and reference Case #23420251 for any additional follow-up, as the unit is confirmed to be operating as designed."
