"The customer reported that the unit was taking too long to dry a load, requiring multiple cycles to fully dry. I turned the unit on to inspect the heating element and confirmed that it was functioning properly, with heat reaching the drum. I then checked for proper airflow and found little to no airflow present. To determine whether the clog was within the appliance or the home vent system, I removed the vent system from the back of the unit, which restored proper airflow and eliminated the clog within the appliance itself. I advised the customer to clean out the home vent system or replace the exit vent line."
