"Upon arrival, the units compressor, evaporator motor in the freezer compartment, and condenser fan were all operational, and the unit was properly cooling. During diagnostic testing, both thermistors in each compartment were functioning correctly, with no shorts detected. At this time, we were unable to verify the cooling failure as reported by the customer.After consulting with Whirlpools tech support team, the first course of actionprior to replacing any partswill be to place data loggers in both compartments of the unit for one week. These devices will monitor and record the units operation and temperatures over the set period to ensure proper cooling performance.Once the logging period is complete, the data loggers will be retrieved and the recorded data submitted for review. "Refrigerator temperatures ranging from 33 to 38?Freezer temperature ranging from -2 to -9 Ice buildup on the back freezer wall about 2 thick Customer said the icemaker was just constantly filling up and there was water dumping out of the dispenser because the icemaker was overflowing into the bucket on the door. Then, once he turned the infrared sensor off the water stopped because the icemaker was stuck in the fuel position spoke with Techline. He advised that changing the icemaker would fix this issuedue to the contactors inside the ice machine getting stuck in the fill position. SR# 7741567887; ordrng 1 W10774434 (Ice maker)"
