"Started to replace sealed system when removing compressor it spewed out lots of black oil/sludgeBy the looks of it compressor had burnout and most likely contaminated system. I informed customer of situation and that the system may need additional parts like freezer evaporator and or condenser coils. We were not sure if installing only fridge evaporator,compressor and filter drier would fix the issue of not cooling if there is oil trapped in system. Customer said she was not gonna pay for what we had already done and that someone should of told her more parts were needed. I told her that there was no way of knowing until system was opened for further investigation. Customer refused to pay. We had to pack our tools and get out out the house."
