"when arriving unit did not have a filter installed, I tested dispenser - unit has great and consistent water pressure no air in lines. The inlet valve is working letting water flow into unit properly, and through filter housing to dispenser. Customer admits to of not changed the filter for a year until he completely lose water pressure - When he removed old filter it restored proper pressure & water flow. I told customer there is where your issue is to simply change filter since the 2 components involve in proper water flow are working (inlet valve & filter housing) After my attempt to explain & break down the operation of those components customer did not seem to understand asking me to continuously explain the break down. Customer then Claims when he installed a new filter he loses water pressure 'before i can fill 1 cup of water i loose water pressure'. Even though having a new filter on hand he did not want install to show me. I quoted the customer a replacement filter housing. If the customer's claim is true, the only potential cause of issue is a block or debris build up on exit spout of filter housing, where water flowing in fine but not flow back out to dispenser with the same pressure. This is potentially caused from customer not changing filter for 1 year. ; ordrng 1 W11172791 (Filter Housing)"
