Inspected cooktop with digital gas meter Check all burners and gas connections NO Leaks found. When inspected gas shutoff vale meter went crazy noisy detecting presence of gas. Back away and meter quite down. Got closer and went loud again. Turned vale to the OFF position but there is still presents gas as the meter continues to go off. Customer was present and video documenting all process and is fully aware where the meter detected the gas leak. Advised customer to get builder and or plumber to make repairs ASAP as the gas cannot be shutoff 100% even though valve is on the OFF position Cooktop is working as intended.
