It took 4 visits to get our JennAir refrigerator fixed. We were without it from 5/22 - 6/26. We were told we would get a call between 7-8am each appt day to give us a window. 3 of the 4 days, I had to call to find out when he was coming. The first trip, he came. Opened the door, said could take as much as 24 hours to get to temp. Said the compressor sounded fine, just give it time. By next day, freezer was still way above temp. Refirgerator was closer, but still warm. I called and was able to schedule a follow up in 2 weeks. He came back, opened the door - unit had been on about 6-8 hours. He said he could not evaluate until it was on over 24 hours. We had tracked the temps over longer than that, but he said he 'had to see it'. Not sure how, unless he was hanging out at our house. He said all he could do was guess, so he would order a new compressor. Took over a week to come in. He came back a third time. Finally removed the panel on the top of the unit - fan motor was burned out. We had turned the unit off again after several days between visits because the cabinet above it was hot to the touch - well over 100 degrees. My husband told him this before he opened the panel - he said that was not possible. Finally opened the panel, and realized the fan motor was burned out and we were right to turn it off. So now, he had to order a fan motor. Fortuanately, they had one in the shop. He finally came on 6/26, changed out the motor and the refrigerator seems to be working finally. We are still monitoring the temperature as it may not be exactly where it should be. The only reason for any stars is that the unit has been repaired. My husband and I are retired. Had we not been, we would have had to give up 4 days to this process. Completely unacceptable in my opinion. Again, I want to emphasize that on the first 2 visits, he did nothing but open the doors and complain that we had not run the unit for 24 hours prior to his arrival. We were not told to do that before the initial visit and after the second, we were concerned about collateral damage due to the heat of the refrigerator. We will not be using this company for any needed repairs in the future.

After I paid the service call fee the communication ended - I did not get any communication for a time window for my service. I had to call twice to get clarification. During my initial appointment call I asked for service for oven light replacement and microwave repair. Was told to have oven light ready for replacement but when the technician got there was told that they will only look at the microwave. That is not what I was told when I called and made the appointment. The lack of communication and lack of professionalism was disappointing. Will find another company next time.
